the best way to describe my current state of being:
cracked. out.
these past couple of weeks my co-workers and i have been work-ing. working hard. and i feel exceptionally proud of all that we've accomplished - from this event this week (and all that came before) to wrapping up this project (holy moly... the wrap up!) we have truly been chugging along...HARD!! & to give you a sense of "hard," what i mean is relentless, tireless, stressful working; i've rarely gotten to my computer later than 7:45am or home from work before 9:30pm and there has not been a single day since february 18th that afforded me a lunch away from my desk... or even a walk to pick up my lunch somewhere...
today was our first bitty taste of relaxation as our bigBigBIG project was fedexed away last night...ahhhhh, so we're all taking a bleary-eyed breath right now!
however, now we have to focus on all of the other work that we neglected these past 15 some odd days. bahhh!! when you're running on fumes it's hard to jump right back in line; our brains are all goopy & frizzled. that said, my lovely co-worker laura and i have opted to spend most of our day giggling in our section of the office, sending each other ridiculous pictures and videos like the ones below.
**wishing all you fried-friends a lovely little bit of zoning out time right now!**
Here’s Charlie Sheen’s Cooking Show
despite the very intense few weeks over here, i must say that having co-workers like mine makes any bit of work-related stress (or really any stress/heartache/aggravation)
all the more bearable.
i'm quite a lucky girl, waking up and hanging out (or hammering side by side)
some of the best women i know!
