Em, I loved that! If you have yet to read "Ways of Seeing" by John Berger then you MUST get on it. It's perceptive, it's thought-provoking it's quick, and it's accessible. I think you will just LOVE it. It examines art, the public, and our perceptions and projections of ourselves from various vantage points... you have to read it to garner a better sense of what I'm talking about. Suffice it to say I read this book numerous times throughout my academic career and got something new from it with every read!

We're writing from the farm. Tonight when I called Hannah who was out trying to forage old melon rinds in the compost I called her and heard my echo about a mile away. New York is definitely heaven and the farm is heaven #2. We love you and the blog is great. Hugs M N D
